Evolution Dance Company is located in Selkirk Manitoba. Only a 20 minute drive from the city of Winnipeg and a short distance from many Interlake communities, Evolution offers quality instruction in a fun and encouraging atmosphere. Evolution runs sixty-two classes weekly in a state-of-the-art facility. The 2 studios are equipped with sprung floors to reduce injury and limit strain on the dancers bodies, as well as full length mirrors and ballet barres. Parents can relax and wait for their child in Evolution's comfortable lobby equipped with a flat screen TV, magazines and kitchen area.

Directors Sonja Brown and Andrea Myers have over 25 years combined teaching and choreography experience.  Both have won numerous awards at the local and international level. Andrea and Sonja , along with Evolution's dynamic faculty will ensure every dancer has the best possible dance training and experience at Evolution.

Evolution Dance Company's mission statement is to provide an affordable, fun and motivating dance school for the children in Selkirk and surrounding area in a safe and enriching environment. Within this program Evolution also strives to develop a strong competitive dance program, while offering a full repertoire of dance styles to recreational students as well.

Evolution Dance Company has a performance-based approach which places a heavy emphasis on achieving the 'S' and 'S' - sweat and smile - in which participants of all ages are encouraged to do their best and have fun!
