2013 ANNUAL RECITAL
Our Annual Recital was held on Monday, May 6th, 2013 at the Centennial Concert Hall in Winnipeg! Students performed to a sold out crowd and it was a wonderful celebratory evening of dance. To view photos of the performance please click here.

TRIPLE THREAT 2012
On November 10th and 11th, 30 EDC teachers and students attended the Triple Threat Dance Convention in Winnipeg. Congratulations to "Hit The Road Jack" for winning a 'Judge's Choice' award in the Future Threats show and to Junior Team member Chelsea Kingsland, for winning a Junior Scholarship! Bravo dancers!

EXTREME DANCE CONVENTION
On February 26th and 27th, some of our Comeptitive Students attended the Extreme Dance Convention in Winnipeg. Congratulations to Raegen McGinnis on your 'Recognition Award' and to Breanna Goldenberg for receiving three Golds and an Overall Youth Solo award. Way to Go!

JUMP 2010
On November 18th, 54 Evolution teachers, competitive team dancers and their parents headed down to Minneapolis, MN for the JUMP dance convention! It was an action-packed weekend of dance that involved workshops on Friday, Saturday and Sunday as well as a Competition on Saturday evening. Students took class from world-renowned choreographers such as Mandy Moore, Bobby Newberry and Billy Bell. Congratulations to Breanna Goldenberg and Ariana Brown for winning 'Jazz, Contemporary, Lyrical' scholarships during the workshop portion of the event. Evolution was very successful in the competition. Some of the awards included 2 Best of JUMP awards, 3 Overall awards and numerous placements in the age division categories. Congratulations to all competitive students!
Evolution was also the recipient of the the 'Studio Spirit' award, and Ms. Andrea and Ms. Sonja will be headed to the JUMP Teacher Retreat in Waikiki in May!

TRIPLE THREAT DANCE CONVENTION
On November 6th and 7th, Ms. Andrea, Ms. Sonja, Miss Danielle and nine Evolution students attended the Triple Threat Dance Convention held at the Winnipeg Convention Centre. Congrats to all dancers that participated and a special congratulations to 'Big Spender' for receiving a 'Judges Choice Award' and to Breanna Goldenberg for winning 1st place in the solo division for the Intermediate Ultimate Threat Challenge, for her solo 'Jailhouse Rock.' Way to go!

With the winter season fast approaching please be advised that in the event of blizzard-like and/or poor driving conditions, Evolution Dance Company may be closed. In the event of these conditions, please phone the studio to listen for a recorded message to see if classes are cancelled. A recorded message will be left no later than one hour prior to the first class of the day if classes are cancelled. If there is no message, classes are on as scheduled. Thank you for your cooperation in ensuring the safety of our students and staff.

Evolution was honoured to welcome Jera Wolfe from SYTYCD Canada to Evolution as a special guest instructor in October.
LA TRIP
Ms. Andrea, Ms. Sonja, Miss Melissa and Miss Jenny travelled to LA in July to take class at the Edge Performing Arts Center. They were very inspired and can't wait to share what they learned with their students!
2010 MANITOBA PROVINCIAL DANCE FESTIVAL JUNIOR JAZZ SCHOLARSHIP & 2nd PLACE -STARS OF TOMORROW COMPETITION
Congratulations to Breanna Goldenberg on winning the 2010 Manitoba Provincial Dance Festival Junior Jazz scholarship and second place at the Red River Ex 'Stars of Tomorrow' competition! We are very proud of you!
CNDC RESULTS!
Evolution had a phenomenal weekend at the CNDC Winnipeg Regional Competition! We are so proud of all of our students and teachers!
